Scholarship Requirements
Unless graduating in the mean time, the recipient must remain a full-time student, enrolled in a Doctorate of Chiropractic program at an accredited Chiropractic college or university in the U.S. during the entire academic year of the award, or they shall forfeit the award.
Minimum 2.7 GPA.
Two recommendations submitted through the online application. Contacts listed for recommendation will be sent a link to complete an online questionnaire.
The recipient must agree to keep the award confidential until it is announced at The FCA National Convention in Orlando, Florida, in August 2021, or they shall forfeit the award.
Applicants may not be family members of employees, officers, or owners of ChiroHealthUSA.
Why is the Discount Challenge prize amount $11,181? Because that is the average “per-occurrence” fine for Medicare inducements. That’s not $11,181 per patient, that’s not per provider, that’s PER VISIT. Stinks, doesn’t it? To us, the prize amount is worth the investment if we can help our profession better understand proper discounting.
